At 5FOLD, We’re Committed to Helping Young People Become Their Best!
Confident - Capable - Ready for Life!

Through 5FOLD's Road Ready initiative, we aim to empower disadvantaged youth aged 16 to 24 with the tools they need to succeed. The goal is for every participant to become Road Ready by receiving comprehensive road safety education, obtaining their driver’s licence and gain independence. In doing so, we not only boost confidence and job readiness but also create stronger pathways to opportunity, while fostering greater community stability, inclusion and resilience.

We believe that community is knowing you are not alone. Many young people face significant barriers caused by trauma, discrimination, addiction, domestic violence, incarceration and other life challenges. These can lead to disconnection, poverty, isolation and the risk of homelessness.

Why We Do This

Our focus is on helping individuals aged 16 to 24 realise their potential and be their best possible self – because everyone else is taken!

We are helping build independent, sustainable and positive lives and we do this through a strength-based approach grounded in three core pillars:

  • Maintaining family structures;
  • Creating sustainable lifestyles; and
  • Empowerment through personal growth and resilience.

Plus, getting their licence is just a bonus!

Where We are Going

Our ultimate goal is to support young people in moving from being victims of their circumstances to becoming the drivers of their own empowerment.

We work across a broad range of areas including, but not limited to:

  • Youth homelessness prevention;
  • Learner driver education;
  • Support for young parents;
  • Mental health and wellbeing;
  • Early intervention for at-risk behaviour; and
  • Education, training and employment pathways.

Every young person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, supported without judgement and given access to a safe, inclusive environment, both physically and emotionally.

At 5FOLD, we’re an organic, responsive organisation that adapts to the evolving needs of our community. Our work is strengthened by meaningful partnerships that help young people develop life skills and build strong support networks for independent living.

5FOLD is officially registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) and remains committed to social justice, equity, cultural diversity and accountability in all aspects of our service delivery.
